Calling all witches, local art lovers, & the autumn-obsessed! We're excited to welcome the talented artists of Tacoma Glass Studio back to the Sky greenhouse for a one-day-only pumpkin takeover! Revel in all the fall vibes and grow your collection of unique, handcrafted glass 'forever pumpkins' (plus slugs, acorns and more!) while supporting local artists in community.

Mosaic Bistro Table Workshops

Design your own weatherproof tabletop masterpiece in a rainbow of brightly colored glass and ceramic, great for creators of all experience levels. No mess! No grouting! Once you've finished your design, Bridget and Majken will carefully finish the piece for your to pick up, take home and enjoy! Finished tables are 12.5" wide and 20" tall.

Mixed Mosaic Workshop
Sunday Oct 18th, 11am-4pm
This hands-on creative class is great for makers of all levels looking to create from a treasure trove of mosaic materials. Get expert support from local artists Bridget & Majken on how to design your own pattern, safely cut glass and ceramic shapes, and finish your piece. You do the design, they do the messy groutwork! Choose from 3 different mosaic crafts!
- Stepstone: $145 + tax (choose 12" square or daisy-shaped stone)

Intermediate Bonsai - The Art of Wiring
November 7th, 11am - 1pm
Bonsai expert Robert Cho of Asia Pacific Gardening will cover the art of bonsai wiring: what type should be used, how to select the right gauges and use anchoring wires, plus correct application, training, and removal techniques. After practicing on extra trees, attendees will then get to train and take home their very own 8 year old indoor bonsai (Ficus retusa), which start as unpruned, untrained 'pre-bonsai.' Previous bonsai experience is recommended.

2nd Annual Greenhouse Winter Market!

Cheers folks! This new community tradition is returning to Sky for a second year! Featuring dozens of truly incredible PNW local vendors, live music, food trucks and a mini farmer's market, all in the cozy winterlight of the Sky Nursery Greenhouse.
All market fees go to support the non-profit work of Hopelink & the Shoreline Farmer's Market. Hopelink will be onsite to accept gracious donations in support of their essential winter food drive. Stay tuned for more details!

We're proud to announce that this beloved holiday tradition is coming BACK to Sky! Handcraft your very own festive botanical wreath for the 2026 holiday season. Choose from a variety of locally grown, fresh-cut branches and learn how to easily handweave them onto a frame from expert local designer Maria.
Please bring garden gloves and pruners if you have them. Cuttings and special decor pieces from home are also welcome.

Shoreline residents Joe and Jennie Ching represent the best of what gardeners and neighbors can be, and the multi-year community effort to honor their story and values with a garden for all deserves the hearty support of the Sky community.

Hopelink - Plant a Row, Share a Row
Many home and community gardeners help keep the produce bins at Hopelink stocked throughout the growing season. Donations of fresh, unspoiled produce may be dropped off at any of Hopelink's no-cost Food Markets.
With your support we can ensure that the thousands of households that visit Hopelink's Markets each year can fill their carts with local and fresh produce for their families.

Need to cancel a prepaid class? We can process your request for a full refund up to 48 hours before the event. For events registered outside of Sky, please refer to the organizer's policy.
Visit the Young Gardener Shed
Come and enjoy our garden shed for Young Gardeners in the Sky Nursery greenhouse. No matter the time of year, the shed is always full of fun self-directed activities for kids, including coloring pages, scavenger hunts, cool plant artifacts, storybooks and more.
