Mid to late August will see the very first of the fall bulbs. Bearded iris and fall crocus (both saffron crocus, above, and the larger flowered and non-edible colchicum) arrive first, along with a few daffodils, Darwin tulips, and ranunculus. Get ready, get set, grow!
