Bio-degradable Containers Have Arrived At Sky!

Sky Nursery has been in the forefront of providing our customers with natural and organic choices in fertilizers, disease and insect control, seeds and live goods for years. We are very pleased to have added biodegradable containers to our list of earth-friendly products!

Made from husks (primarily rice and bamboo) and natural binding agents, these beautiful pots will begin to biodegrade in 2 to 5 years (depending on material and use), breaking down into rich organic matter. No toxins, no depletion of natural resources, no guilt about plastic pots in the landfill. Only a small amount of water is used in the binding formula and the natural pigments are environmentally friendly.

These containers are suitable for all climates, all environments and all applications where plastic, clay or wooden containers are used. They will keep their shape and clean surface until the end of their functional life, are resistant to freezing and thawing damage, and have excellent heat insulation. And, they are lightweight.
